Industrial wastewater mainly generated from printing and dyeing, oil refining and chemical industry, pharmaceutical and other industries. Activated carbon can be used in the primary, secondary and tertiary treatment processes , which can remove non-biodegradable color and odor in wastewater. This can avoid foaming in the aeration tank and at the same time it can promote the coagulation floc or biological flocgrowth and precipitation process. It can also remove heavy metal ions and their complexes in wastewater, finally meeting the dischargstandard.
